Johnny is survived by
his beloved wife, Cheryl, and his precious son John Jr. his loving
parents, Patricia and John Hurley Sr., his cherished sister Kellie
& brother inlaw Brad Daniels, his nephew Kyle and niece Lily
Daniels, his grandmother, Joyce Hurley, his in-laws, Paul and Florence
Zboncak, his brother-in-law Paul Zboncak, and many aunts, uncles and
cousins, and so many friends he made during his short life. For those of
you who did not have the honor to know Johnny Hurley, he was a
passionate, dedicated, loyal, and loving man, who served his family and
friends. His childhood dream was to become a Chicago police officer, to
help people, and he lived that dream and he lived it well. Johnny had a
strong commitment to God and his family. He loved life and lived it to
the fullest.
John had a heart
for people, and for fundraising and helping others. While riding his
motorcycle, he was in an accident and went home to be with the Lord on
September 11, 2005. He left behind his wife Cheryl, he loved so much
and his unborn son, he was so excited about.
Johnny had an amazing smile and a big hug we will never forget. He had a phenomenal sense of humor, a laugh we can still hear.
Johnny is a
treasured life, who is missed by all, who passed this way too short a
time, but touched so many lives in his twenty eight years; he will
forever be in our hearts.
